Finally an Update!

I know, I've pretty sucked at this whole blogging thing as of late...summer is busy, busy and more busy...and it's my vacation.


And I've been vacationing...we went to VA beach with Justin's family. We drove 18 hours from SW MO to east VA but all three girls did so awesome in the car that I was kinda surprised. It was an amzing week.

We visited the US's largest naval base in Norfolk, VA and saw the USS Wisconsin...yay, we were that close. We went to a lighthouse...the Old Cape Henry Lighthouse...and climbed to the top. 191 steps up and 191 steps down... Justin has an amazing family and I loved spending so much time with them.

Mammaw and Pappaw sure do love their girls!!!

We've had quite the summer. We had a wonderful 4th of July. No pictures yet! Maybe later!

Justin and I are going to see U2 on Sunday at Busch Stadium and it's supposed to be 101 in STL but it should be so much fun!!

In other news...

1. Justin and I are trying to sell our house. Post to come later. There have been some potential buyers. We are hopeful. We are trying to move to Ozark so I can be closer to work and to Molly's school. We haven't found anything we want to buy yet so it's not been too stressful yet. We are going to look at 3 houses tonight so say a little prayer that we find "the one" and that our house sells tomorrow! :)

2. Miss Molly will be 17 months old on Saturday! HOLY COW! Time flies. I will promise to do an 18 month update for the little Miss next month.

3. I'm ready to go back to school. Don't get me wrong, I will miss Miss Molly dearly...more than you can imagine. I love spending so much time with her but I have discovered this summer that she is JUST LIKE ME! She thrives on routine like I do. There's probably a reason for that. I love getting up in the morning and going to work. She LOVES school...which I am so thankful for. She has a good teacher and a great class with lots of friends. Plus, I'm very anxious to get things going this year. I know that they say, "Don't wish your life away!" but I have a huge year coming up and I'm axnious to get it started. That being said though, I'm going to enjoy the time that is left before the first of August.

4. We've got another HUGE vacation coming up next Sunday (not this coming but the following) with my entire family. We are going to Oshkosh, WI to the annual Fly-In/Airplane show. With a dad, husband and eventually (hopefully) a brother who are pilots, airplanes are kinda a normal thing around these parts. My dad owns a plane and now that my husband flies, there's been talk of getting another, larger one. Oshkosh is close to Green Bay so we will be going down there so Molly can see where the Super Bowl champs play and Lake Michigan. We will be seeing the Lt. Dan Band, which is Gary Sinese's band. 11 months old!!

Holy cow...one more month and my little baby girl will be turning ONE!!! OMG!! I can't believe that! This past year has gone by so fast! (I know that that's so cliche...my bad)

So...What's Molly been up to? Well, she's developed into quite the little person with quite the little personality.

She's sleeping 8-10 hours per night...there have been wakeful periods recently that she's woken up at 3-4 in the morning. She's still eating 3-4 bottles per day of formula. 6 oz usually, 8 at night. She's still not eating any kind of real food...puffs, crackers, cherrios, nothing. She digs any fruits and veggies though...as long as it's pureed...:) It's frustrating but we're working on it.

She's a part-time stander. She isn't too interested in it though. Neither is she interested in walking...but she's cruising aorund on everything and I think in the next month, we might just be in trouble. She's taking 2 naps per day...although that's a rough thing right now. She wants to sleep in our arms or not at all. I'm not sure where that came from. :) I don't mind it though...there's nothing I like better than holding her for hours on end.

She's wearing size 3 diapers...but as soon as we run out of the current 3's...we will be going to size 4. She's wearing mainly 12 month clothing...with a few 18 months thrown in. After 12 months...her wordrobe is kinda lacking... hopefully she gets som stuff for her birthday! Hint, Hint

She still loves bathtime...I hope that never changes. She can thrown a temper tantrum with the best of 'em. OMG! They are too funny! She'll scream and scream and scream some more...then stop to turn and look if you are watching...OMG...I'm in trouble. I'm hard at work planning her birthday party. It's going to be on Feb. 19th at my parent's house. I'll be showing you all the prep as it comes in.

My life and Photoshop

For my anniversary in July, Justin got me Photoshop Elements 8...and to be honest it's been a bit difficult to figure out...but I've been playing around with it the past couple of nights after Molly has gone to bed and I finally have a "product" to show the masses.
