12 months old!

You've already seen the 1st birthday pictures. We finally got the 12 month pics taken today. (only 1 1/2 week late)

What Molly's been up to this month:
- Wearing 12 -18 / 18 month clothes. She's wearing some 12 month stuff too!
- Drinking 1 8 oz. bottle of formula per day (at night before bed)...we're trying to cut that out too.
- Eating oatmeal for breakfast most mornings (with yogurt or applesauce mixed in)
- Started eating "snacky" type food: carrot and apple bites, crackers, cookies (still no puffs though)
- Eats 2 baby food containers for lunch and dinner. The happy baby containers though are 4.5 oz each...So she eats about 8 oz of food for those meals.
- Drinks anywhere from 4 - 10 oz of whole milk per day
- Walking a couple of steps at a time
- Crusing along EVERYTHING!!!!
- Started satcking blocks on top of one another
- Sleeps 11-12 hours per night (8pm - 6:00am most nights)
- Still sucking on the binkie but we're cutting it out too
- Taking one nap at school per day (12 - 3ish)
- Says words like "mama" "dada" "byebye" "nana" "caca" (cat) "ba" (ball)
- Signs "More"
- Pushes EVERYTHING around - including chairs, bar stools, toys
- Weighs 21.7 lbs (50%) and is 29 3/4 inches long (75%)

11 months old!!

Holy cow...one more month and my little baby girl will be turning ONE!!! OMG!! I can't believe that! This past year has gone by so fast! (I know that that's so cliche...my bad)

So...What's Molly been up to? Well, she's developed into quite the little person with quite the little personality.

She's sleeping 8-10 hours per night...there have been wakeful periods recently that she's woken up at 3-4 in the morning. She's still eating 3-4 bottles per day of formula. 6 oz usually, 8 at night. She's still not eating any kind of real food...puffs, crackers, cherrios, nothing. She digs any fruits and veggies though...as long as it's pureed...:) It's frustrating but we're working on it.

She's a part-time stander. She isn't too interested in it though. Neither is she interested in walking...but she's cruising aorund on everything and I think in the next month, we might just be in trouble. She's taking 2 naps per day...although that's a rough thing right now. She wants to sleep in our arms or not at all. I'm not sure where that came from. :) I don't mind it though...there's nothing I like better than holding her for hours on end.

She's wearing size 3 diapers...but as soon as we run out of the current 3's...we will be going to size 4. She's wearing mainly 12 month clothing...with a few 18 months thrown in. After 12 months...her wordrobe is kinda lacking... hopefully she gets som stuff for her birthday! Hint, Hint

She still loves bathtime...I hope that never changes. She can thrown a temper tantrum with the best of 'em. OMG! They are too funny! She'll scream and scream and scream some more...then stop to turn and look if you are watching...OMG...I'm in trouble. I'm hard at work planning her birthday party. It's going to be on Feb. 19th at my parent's house. I'll be showing you all the prep as it comes in.

10 months old

Molly turned 10 months old on December 16th but I'm just now getting this post done.


This month Molly has been a very busy little girl:
- Eating 2 containers of food, 3 times a day
- Eats 2-3 6 oz. bottles a day and one 8 oz bottle at night.
- Still wears size 3 diapers
- Graduated to the "big girl carseat" - We got the Graco MyRide 65...just one for my car but we are about to invest in a cheaper one for Justin's
- Sleeps 10 - 12 hours a night...most of the time
- Takes 2 hour to hour and half long naps per day.
- Plays hard
- Says words "mama", "dada", "nana" "ba" (ball), "Ca" (cat)
- Drinks from a sippy cup - all be it, not well...
- Wears mostly size 12 month clothes with a few 18 months thrown in
- Wears size 3 or 4 shoe
- Still has 8 teeth but we think she's trying to cut the back molars
- Cruises on EVERYTHING, but has yet to stand or walk on her own...and that's just fine with me.
- LOVES the outlets!
- LOVES bathtime...still!


I'm sure I'm missing something..but time for pictures!

I cannot express how much I love this little girl...she is the sunshine of my life...I'm so blessed!

9 Months!!

I can't believe that in just 3 SHORT months, we will have a 1 year old! Molly has been a VERY busy girl this month!


- She's started standing and cruising around the coffee table, ottoman, cabinets.
- She's wearing manily 12 months clothing.
- She's still wearing size 3 diapers...but they are getting snug.
- She's weighing about 21(?) lbs. and I'm guessing about 29 inches long....she's going to be tall...I hope!
- She's eating 4 bottles a day - mainly 7 oz. each - but 8 oz. at night.
- She's eating 3 baby food meals per day....mainly still stage 2 (sitter foods) but we've started the stage 3...crawler food
- She's sleeping about 10 hours per night...this is normal for her. 5:30 am comes and she's a awake...**I need to remember to take that alarm clock out of her room** - KIDDING!!!


Now for the pics...she's kind of a terd these days...so we didn't get very many.
